Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, hosting, domain, and related services (the "Services") provided by I-Host ("I-Host", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered at Beirut, Lebanon. By creating an account, placing an order, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Services We Provide

I-Host provides Cloud VPS hosting, cPanel Web Hosting, domain name registration and transfer, SSL certificates, and related add-on services. Some Services are provisioned automatically through third-party infrastructure and registrar partners; availability, features, and pricing may change as those partnerships change.

2. Your Account

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by anyone you share credentials with.
• You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to hold an account.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Send unsolicited bulk email (spam), or operate mail relays, botnets, or spamming infrastructure;
• Host, distribute, or link to illegal content, including content that infringes intellectual property rights;
• Engage in phishing, malware distribution, denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, or any other malicious network activity;
• Violate the acceptable use policies of our upstream providers, including our infrastructure and network partners;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or network, whether ours or a third party's;
• Use resources in a way that degrades service for other customers sharing the same infrastructure (applies especially to Web Hosting plans).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any Service, without prior notice in cases of severe or urgent abuse, where we reasonably believe this policy has been violated. Report suspected abuse of our Services to abuse@i-host.me.

4. Billing, Payment, and Renewals

• Services are billed in advance on the billing cycle you select at checkout (e.g. monthly, annually).
• You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for recurring renewals unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Invoices are due on the date shown on the invoice. Overdue accounts may be automatically suspended after 5 days past the due date.
• Domain registrations and transfers are billed and processed through our registrar partner and are subject to that registrar's and the relevant registry's own terms.
• Prices are shown in USD unless otherwise stated and may change with notice for future billing cycles; changes do not apply retroactively to an already-paid term.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

New hosting signups are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, domain registrations/transfers are non-refundable once processed, and mid-cycle cancellations are eligible for a prorated refund. Full details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

6. Service Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your Services if:

• Payment is overdue past our grace period;
• You violate this Acceptable Use Policy or any other part of these Terms;
• We receive a valid legal order requiring us to do so;
• Continuing to provide the Service would expose us, our network, or other customers to material risk.

You may cancel your Services at any time through the Client Area. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless stated otherwise in Section 5.

7. Data, Backups, and Your Content

• You are solely responsible for the content, data, and applications you host with us, and for maintaining your own backups.
• Backups are not automatically included unless your specific plan states otherwise. A backup add-on can be subscribed to separately if your package doesn't already include one; either way, maintaining your own independent backups is strongly recommended.
• Upon termination or suspension for cause, we may delete account data after a reasonable retention period; we recommend exporting anything you need before cancelling.

8. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime across our Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, and VPS services, and provide support 24/7 through our ticketing system and by email. This is a target, not a service-credit-backed SLA: scheduled maintenance, upstream provider outages, force majeure events, and factors outside our reasonable control may still affect availability.

9. Domain Registration Terms

Domain registration and transfer services are provided in partnership with a third-party registrar. By registering or transferring a domain through us, you also agree to:

• The registrar's and the applicable domain registry's own terms of service;
• ICANN's policies where applicable, including WHOIS accuracy requirements and the Transfer Policy;
• Providing accurate registrant contact information, which may be publicly published via WHOIS unless privacy protection is enabled and included with your registration.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I-Host is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected Service in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date, and where required by law, we will notify you directly. Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and any disputes arising from them will be resolved in the courts of Lebanon.
