This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for I-Host's Services. It supplements our Terms of Service; where the two overlap, this page has the fuller detail.
New Web Hosting and Reseller Hosting signups are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied within your first 30 days of service, contact billing@i-host.me and we'll issue a full refund to your original payment method - no questions asked.
This guarantee applies to your first billing term on a new account. It does not apply to renewal payments, or to any add-ons or third-party charges (e.g. domain registrations) billed alongside the hosting plan.
Domain registrations and transfers are non-refundable once processed with the registry. This is standard across the domain industry: once we submit a registration or transfer, the registry's own fee is incurred immediately and cannot be recovered, so we're unable to refund it either.
If you cancel a Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, or VPS service partway through a paid billing period, you're eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of that period. Submit a cancellation request from your Client Area, or open a ticket, and we'll calculate and process the prorated amount back to your original payment method.
Prorated refunds are calculated from the date we receive your cancellation request, not the date service access ends.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the charge. Processing times depend on your payment provider and are typically reflected within 5-10 business days of approval.
If your service is suspended or terminated for violating our Acceptable Use Policy (see Terms of Service, Section 3), the money-back guarantee and prorated-refund provisions above do not apply.
Questions about a refund or cancellation can be sent to billing@i-host.me.
